Quem costuma observar fotos antigas ou recentes da Kinderland deve ter percebido – entre as Senhoras da Afib, nas primeiras colônias ou em imagens já no sítio atual – uma figura “anônima” constante. Discreta e sempre dedicada ao espírito coletivo, lá estava Fany Haus Martins ou Feigl Haus, seu nome original.

Nascida em 1933 no Brasil, de pais fugidos da Europa dos pogroms, Fany ficou órfã cedo. Criança pobre, foi criada pela tia, Carlota (Tcharne) Lachtermacher uma das damas fundadoras da Kinderland e da Afib (Associação Feminina Israelita Brasileira). Quando a Afib cogitou comprar um sítio para instalar a colônia, Carlota foi destacada para avaliar uma proposta em Sacra Família do Tinguá. Subiu a serra, avaliou o sítio e dormiu lá, no casebre. Retornou com o parecer favorável à compra. Como sabemos disso? Porque nos contou Fany, que estava lá, acompanhando Carlota. O sonho e a alegria de tanta gente hoje, de dormir nos quartos coletivos do mundo mágico das crianças (קינדערלאנד), Fany o viveu na primeira noite. Ela estava lá na primeira noite, no primeiro dia, antes da kinderland ser comprada e esteve também na primeira colônia* e nas que se seguiram como monitora.

A verdade é que a Kinderland não foi feita apenas pelas ‘damas’ ativistas/comunistas para a criançada colonista. Nada teria funcionado se não houvesse também uma juventude ativista e engajada, e isso não era um fato tão trivial naqueles tempos.

Vivíamos, no Brasil, o fim de uma ditadura e a tentativa fugaz de uma democracia, na qual poucos se atreviam a sair às ruas para se manifestar. Menos ainda eram os que ousavam se organizar, mas não Fany . Ela fundou e foi primeira dirigente do Clubinho, iniciativa da juventude de esquerda judaica, cujo objetivo era promover atividades culturais e debates. Havia grupos de estudo, atividades externas, grupos de teatro e comissões de todo tipo – as mesmas que a Kinderland viria a copiar depois. O Clubinho nasceu dentro da Bibsa (Biblioteca Israelita Brasileira Scholem Aleichem) e compôs o grupo central de fundação do Clube ASA (Associação Scholem Aleichem). dando origem a muita  coisa interessante, como o teatro Casa Grande.

No período confuso da guerra fria, Fany seguiu privilegiando o coletivo, organizando pessoas, saindo às ruas pelo partidão (PCB – ilegal naquela época) para obter assinaturas contra a bomba atômica. Durante o ano, ativista política; nas férias, monitora da Kinderland. Fany viveu a história que o mundo lhe deu, fez sua a iniciativa nomeada às outras. Morreu recentemente, ainda com forte posicionamento, comparecendo a reuniões na ASA com a mesma motivação da juventude.

Por tudo isso, não me surpreende que, ao abrir o livro de 60 anos da Kinderland ou o site da colônia, veja minha mãe presente na maior parte das fotos antigas, as mesmas que, em seu passado pobre e órfão, não pode ter para si (fotos eram caras).  Mas todas as vezes em que se fotografava o coletivo, lá estava ela, sempre. Pensando bem, acho mesmo que isso não mudou. Talvez seja justamente essa a força da Kinderland: assegurar às crianças o direito – e o prazer – de aparecer em fotos coletivas, mesmo sem ter seus nomes citados, como minha mãe. Ao aparecer em tantas fotos coletivas, mesmo sem identificação, fica evidente que Fany, a Feigl, não foi testemunha da história ou seu objeto, senão ao contrário.
* A 1a colônia foi em 1950, em Lyndoia (SP). Naquela época a Afib ainda não tinha comprado o terreno onde hoje está a Kinderland.
